You’ll be picked up by a professional driver at 9:00 AM from the lobby of your hotel in Prague, then travel about an hour to the historic town of Terezín. Once there, you’ll explore significant sites connected with its role in World War II and the Holocaust. The visit includes the Small Fortress (former Gestapo prison), National Cemetery, Ghetto Museum, Jewish Prayer Room, and Magdeburg Barracks. You’ll learn about how the town transformed from an 18th-century fortress into a transit camp and ghetto, and hear stories of enormous human suffering, resilience, and hope. After the tour, there’s time to enjoy a traditional Czech meal in a local restaurant before returning to Prague.
